race based and caste based discrimination are both technically the same and fall into the "racism" category.
- henru 6y agoIm curious about it, how is it the same? Is there a racial basis to caste? My (superficial) undrerstandimg of it is that it's more of a discrimination based on social class (classism) rather than a discrimination based on race (racism). Were dalits, for example, part of a racial minority when this all started?
