- Proven 6y agoI hate to break it to you but even this Fake Science project "succeeds", it can't scale (because there's no way to pay nearly everyone to watch Netflix). I'm sure the conclusion will be how it worked very well ("65% of participants increased attendance in yoga classes, 85% switched to healthy diet") but it's unaffordable. In addition to the well-known fact that it doesn't make any sense. Can someone explain to me why these projects can't be community-operated and funded on Patreon? -- Under normal circumstances in an unhampered market, firms are constantly seeking to increase worker productivity, which benefits individuals who actually show up to work. However, the costs behind a UBI require depriving employers of the resources needed to increase capital accumulation, and thus increase worker productivity.
