Samsung's hardware capabilities are impressive - quantum dot active matrix displays (for example) present a technology that is fundamentally superior to anything they compete with. However, they seem to be rampantly anti-consumer - not only selling user data, but overcharging on everything they sell. They also hobble their hardware with software designed by a bunch of shit-flinging monkeys. They're also perfectly happy to engage in whatever legally dubious practices that they can get away with.
