Hey Darek,
Thank you for your valuable feedback! I really appreciate it.
Let me answer your question.
I phrased it "different approach" as the approach I see in the industry so far, even in my current role, is that we have to manage 3-5 different tools to manage our digital workspace.
Jira for projects, MS teams/outlook for conversations or file sharing. And the challenge I see in these tools is, they don't get along with each other easily.
So, I wanted two things to be solved while building Youspace.io. First, all that necessary tools be available in one place. Second, make these tools easier to use and manage.
For the first problem, I developed Youspace.io to have all those tools/apps available in one place(still a lot more features are in the works). Then for the second problem, I created concept of workspaces to organize tools contents in one place.
Say you are working on a project for redesigning a local restaurant's website. Youspace.io will help in creating a workspace for that project, share it with others who are working on that same project. And as workspaces have all the tools put in one place, you can focus all your energy to your design and need not to worry about looking elsewhere. Also you can do private conversations with people who collaborate with you in Youspace.io.
With private and shared workspaces, you can organize your work/projects any way you want.
I am continuously building more features and making Youspace.io more useful.
I hope that was not too long and it answers your question :)
