Japanese also having commonly used phonetic writing systems makes it easier than Chinese in my book.
- mrob 6y agoBut Japanese has fewer phonemes than Chinese, and no real tones, which results in a large number of homophones, which makes phonetic writing harder to read. It's not appropriate for business communications.
