Ha, thanks for that post.... :-) it makes me remember...
15 years ago I played with it a lot since I somehow enjoy emulators.
Just for those who are interested:
Bochs itself, written in C/C++, is by itself an absolute fantastic project. Its a x86/x64 PC emulator which, when you read the source code, blows your mind... a complex project, but very very well written.
Mozaa is a translation to Delphi (Version 7) of Bochs v1.4 (I think) right before Bochs introduced the x64 instruction set for emulation in Bochs v2.0. Hence Mozaa is only capable to execute 32-bit x86 code. It seems that the tranlation was done in an automatic fashion and then corrected where nessesary by hand. It has some translation errors, one in the protected code emulation (I think it was in the "call" instruction procedure - can't remember, long time ago).
If you want to compile Mozaa with Delphi, make sure that the compiler optimization are switched on (they are not when you download the project)
BTW: Thank you Peter for posting Pascal/Delphi topics form time to time to hn. Even though I have never replied (and most of those posts have zero comments) I really like this stuff. :-)
