The bad parts are the esoteric builds. X need Y built with a certain configuration on N platforms, and cross compilable from x86 to risc and arm. CMake stops helping pretty quick. Conan/Nix sort of do the trick... Wish it was more like npm or cargo at this point. Here's my deps, their versions, one command to build. I suppose vendoring everything works ala the mega Google repo?
