It seemed natural to me, but I came from a place where "master recording" was the reference record.
But it does make zero difference what the name is, as long as it's descriptive.
- oblio 6y agoMain is pretty solid as a term, though. And the amount of people who know what a master recording is is minuscule in my experience, especially among non-native English speakers. Main is kind of obvious, even if you don't know a lot about English.
- 52-6F-62 6y agoSure. I don't really care, myself. Besides, it's just how Microsoft is deciding they want their service to work by default. It's hardly even a shift. I don't understand all the huff. The branch names were designed to be mutable in the first place.
