This is also my experience. Quest, iPad, MacBook, headphones etc can all mostly use the same chargers. Really all I need to track is that the MacBook needs a thicker cable and this pretty much solves any compatibility issues. This article feels like an engineer complaining like: "the spec is too long for me to read and is therefore bad."
