When have you actually phoned a company the last time and were put on hold? In the day and age of live chats, mails and whatnot, I haven't made calls to any company for quite some time. If it's important, somebody will call me. That's the way it should work, not me going on my knees and begging to talk to someone who takes money from me.

A few days ago. Had to phone my bank to authorise my card for adding to Google Pay.

Last week to cancel a credit card. Maybe there was a live chat available, but I block 3rd party JS and they might still need a phone call to pass security anyway.
