This is a research paper proposing a causal link between child seat regulations and family size.
It is not about procreation in cars, such as the song by Cake - Stick Shifts and Safety Belts. "I need you to be here with me,
Not way over in a bucket seat.
But when we're driving in my Malibu,
It's easy to get right next to you."
- hinkley 6y agoDo you remember bench seats in cars? I think that song might be a little more literal than you’re assuming.

Still available in full size trucks, more likely to be found in fleet work trucks though. 5 minutes of googling tells me the 2013 Impala was the probably the last car sold with a front bench option. I would have guessed it would be that or a Crown Vic.
