Good. I have been thinking of giving up bread entirely for cake.

  Swapping four slices of bread a day for one slice of cake is a perfectly reasonable thing to do!

    Depends on the bread and the cake. If the bread were whole-grain, this swap would almost certainly be unreasonable health-wise.

      There is plenty of tasty cakes with whole grain (and a lot of fat and sugar).

        Yes, I'm saying that whole grain bread is preferable to any kind of cake that has a lot of fat and sugar.

      Most people eat white bread anyway which has little fibre.
