He's spending money to influence public policy, in the direction of mandatory and global vaccination. All the worst things in history were done for the best of intentions.
- vb6sp6 6y agoSo no mandate? And no forced vaccines? Got it.
- throwawayay02 6y agoAre you implying only open, legal mandates count? I sure remember hearing a lot about russian interference in some election...

- vb6sp6 6y agoI'm implying that you might not be right in the head if you think bill gates is going to forcefully vaccinate you.
- throwawayay02 6y agoOf course he's not, I'm just saying Bill Gates is using his money and influence to have governments force that on their people, and make such people happy to be forcefully vaccinated as well.

- lukewrites 6y agoPerhaps he is doing this with the worst of intentions, so therefore this will become one of the best things in history. :)
- remram 6y agoAren't a lot of vaccines already required by law in a lot of countries? Why is this a bad thing, especially when faced with a global pandemic? [edit: Actually clicked on the link now. I can see what Anti-vaxxers cranks would have against it, though of course I don't think those should be paid any heed.]
- dragonwriter 6y ago> He's spending money to influence public policy, in the direction of mandatory and global vaccination Okay. > All the worst things in history were done for the best of intentions. I'm sure I'd be entertained at your explanation of the best intentions behind the Holocaust and several other historical genocides, but even of we accept that generalization as true it doesn't imply that all things done with good intentions are likely to lead to bad ends.
- Beached 6y agoto the people who carried out the holocaust, they though it was for the good. or at least some. the definition of good acts is depending on the person. someone can try to do good in their own eyes, and be doing evil in other's eyes. see crusades, isis, nazi germany, etc. I'm not saying any of those things are good, but one man's good intentions is another man's evil deeds.
