This game has all the hallmarks of overhype and unachievable expectations. I'm really worried about it. There's a laundry list of features that have already been axed and people who have got their hands on builds this year have stated that some of the core mechanics like driving are really bad. Sometimes game developers pour too much gasoline on the hype fire and it ends up backfiring spectacularly. No Man's Sky comes to mind, although in that case it was far more egregious (false statements by the CEO on the capabilities of the product).
