Really hope this develops into a full-fledged competitor to Plausible/Matomo/Fathom/Simple, which are way overpriced at scale. Would also like to see it keep more than a week of data for historical (anonymized) comparison.
I've also never seen an analytics product that attempted to deduplicate or correlate data between server logs and JavaScript beacons, for example to count the number of cached PWA visits or display a percentage of users with JS disabled. Cloudflare is uniquely positioned to do this robustly.
- joshmanders 6y agoHow is Plausible/Matomo/Fathom/Simple over priced at scale? I use Fathom and their pricing is $75/mo for 2M views a month... If you're getting that much traffic, $75/mo is a BARGAIN.
- driverdan 6y agoMatomo is open source and can be self-hosted. How is pricing an issue?
- rkwz 6y agoYou can try https://www.goatcounter.com https://www.goatcounter.com if price is an issue :)
- XCSme 6y agoYou can self-host Matomo and it should be cheaper. You could also try the product[0] that I'm working on, which is also self-hosted, but more modern/efficient than Matomo and that also provides some of their premium features in the self-hosted form.
