Toyota recently pulled out of the country due to ineffective bureaucracy and that's when they're pushing for more manufacturing. In cases like these there's no way for them to fight if they're against you.
- krtkush 6y ago> Toyota recently pulled out of the country That is incorrect. Toyota is halting expansion in India not pulling out.
- johnnydoe9 6y agoYeah my bad, halting expansion. Kia encountered major issues as well but continued in a different state IIRC

- kumarharsh 6y agoToyota is NOT pulling out of India, and neither is it not expanding/investing more money. It was a newsbyte spread by some papers w/o citing named sources. The news was refuted by Government officials as well as Toyota India's Vice Chairman, who said Toyota would be investing about 20 Billion INR over the next 12 months. https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/auto/cars-uvs/toyota-kirloskar-motor-reiterates-its-commitment-to-indian-market/articleshow/78163191.cms https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/auto/cars-uvs/...
