The manufacturer has provided no changelog and does not provide a download link for the current firmware to enable a downgrade if it goes south. That is a luxury. My cable modem updated itself automatically to include a bloated asp server for modem interface and the modem crashes regularly, because it can not handle the load of the asp server on top of 4 devices connected to it. Plus, they added a "Community Wifi" to share my already crappy connecting with strangers, overloading the modem even more.
