Does depend some countries treat nursing for example differently and is there a path to a degree at the end. I recall over hearing two specialist nurses discussing what their "first" degree was - this was in a transplant ward. Three years sounds short back when I was doing my higher level apprenticeships in the uk it was 4 years and it was assumed that some if not all would have done a full craft aprticieship first.
