Misleading title.
> To help you with your awesome new ideas, we are now offering our startup plan free for a year to anyone that meets the following criteria:
> Your startup must be under two years old.
> Your startup must be venture-backed and with less than $2M of funding.
> Your startup must have less than $1M in revenue.
- jfengel 6y agoAny idea what "venture-backed" means in this case? It would seem to mean "already received venture capital, but not too much of it", but that doesn't make any sense to me. I'm guessing it means something closer to "not some big corporation pretending that one project is a separate company", which would make a kind of sense. But "venture backed" makes it seem as if my garage startup doesn't count because I'm doing it part time.

- jfengel 6y agoAnd they do have a free tier as well for the hobby set. So presumably they're looking at the point after hobby and actually planning to be big. And I suppose "got money from somebody" is as good a proxy as any for that. Interesting. Though I still don't know what counts as "venture".
