Is it generally agreed practice to always use reply all?
- kazinator 6y agoYou should always use reply all, to keep the discussion together (all recipients in the loop). The only exception is when a message is broadcast, but the originator is looking for individual replies. Like, for instance, the company office manager asks 300 people whether they are coming to the barbecue. Nobody wants their inbox stuffed with 299 replies. That might be a good situation for setting the Reply-To header, to save those who habitually use reply-all.
