Do they really think everything is fine, or are they afraid to indicate that things are not fine? What does "seem to indicate" mean here? You can't really know what to do until you know the answer to those questions. Also, if I may be blunt, how do you know they're capable of writing correct code? Presumably there were conditions at some point under which they did so (or else you wouldn't make that assertion); what is different about those conditions to now?
