Nothing surprising here. Company like Cloudflare , Netlify etc... are generally built for Sale or to IPO. People in charge of this type of Startup care about two things Growth - ARR. It’s very common for those business to have multiples teams with their own « Mailing List » because it’s just faster and simpler to operate this way rather than having one single mailing system. Add to that Software Turnover and your good for some trouble just to get rid of something that should have never been a problem in the first place.
