- dijit 6y agoYes, exactly. It sounds ridiculous, but people also die from drinking water. The key difference is understanding that it’s not the “water”, it’s what’s in the water. As an interesting aside; this is also why water kills electrical components, pure water is not a good conductive. But what’s in the water is.
- dredmorbius 6y agoAnd since water is such a good ionic solvent, ionic salts dissolve readily and rapidly in water, making water electrically conductive.
