Well, this is the Black Edition of the Cooler Master Hyper 212, so there is that. I too found the article a bit underwhelming. I thought 'cooler cooler' was going to mean a configuration where a secondary cooler was piggybacking on a primary cooler, to get the temps down into the arctic depths. Apparently that idea isn't any good, LOL.
- wussboy 6y agoI remember devouring articles off of HardOCP in the late 90s where people would hook a piezoelectric plate up to the CPU and then a water cooler to the plate, allowing them to send the processor below freezing. There had to carefully glue rubberized cloth to the back side of the motherboard to keep the condensation from forming and wrecking things. Awesome times!
