Superficially Terraform seems to be solving a similar problem: a declarative interface for updating a stateful process.
- Kinrany 6y agoSo: - functional core is responsible for computing the new desired state in response to events - driver/plugin is responsible for computing the diff between the current and the desired state - imperative shell is responsible for applying the diff to the process... which may be partially or wholly implemented as another component
