Homes in Black and Latino neighborhoods still undervalued 50 years
- rbecker 6y ago> Since 1980, real estate prices have risen far faster than inflation, incomes and prices of consumer goods like food or clothing. As a result, housing costs now make up a larger proportion of residents’ expenses. So... wouldn't that make Black and Latino neighborhoods better off, since their prices have risen less, and are therefore more affordable? Sorry, undervalued. I don't understand how both rising real estate prices, and undervalued housing, can be a problem. Can home prices be too high and too low at the same time?
