The same type of companies that you want to actually stay clear of are the same ones who might slap you with a ToS violation or get your order held up by an anti-fraud algorithm in contrast the companies that are easy to just use an alias probably wouldn't have done much with your information anyway. I also don't know the implications should there be a problem in transit. Might be some cases where you are shutting yourself out of a refund or a successful parcel recovery.
