I would think it would be more for things like "Did I leave the stove on" then "Is someone breaking in".
That being said, I will never buy this because Ring is untrustworthy.
- lm28469 6y agoI've seen a few people commenting about this stove issue. I can't believe anyone seriously thinks the answer to "some people forget to turn off their stove sometimes" is "indoor drone streaming data to mega corporations". There are auto switch off devices for both gas and electric stoves by the way.
- Shared404 6y agoI agree -- I was just stating a more viable use case. And like I said in my comment: Ring is untrustworthy. As such, there is no way I would ever purchase this from them. I would also not purchase it from a different large corp.
