Yeah this is why I avoid Teslas on the highway when I'm driving. Their owners are more often than not on their phones not looking at the road while autopilot has their lives (and others) in its hands.
- tdhz77 6y agoAs a former Tesla owner I can tell you we feel the same about humans controlling cars. On the highway between Baltimore and DC there was 6 of us on autopilot, we had FSD and we all kept a safe distance and passed slower cars for about 40 miles. It made me realize if we all had the same tech in cars in terms of safety and OS, we could be safer than human control and we were.
