I'm blown away by how many sailors believe in the equal transit theory.
- arethuza 16y agoOne of the great things about sailing small high performance dinghies is that the feedback is so immediate you don't really need a model of how sails work - just the ability to observe what is going on and what works (although I admit training does help). As Rodney Brooks said: "The world is its own best model"
