There's an in-between here. Daily standups just aren't a great fit in many cases... weekly standups will tend to work better in these cases. At the end of the day it boils down to the difficulty of the tasks to be executed and how much R&D and design work there is. The more R&D heavy your workload the more impractical daily standups tend to be.
- bobwall 6y agoYea, we did stand-ups Mon, Wed, Fri, which tended to be a good balance. Still able to let people know what you are doing, but not having to be forced to do it everyday as if you are children.
