And I wonder, what's the end goal of those illuminati? To support any dump/bizzare theory and hopefully become part of a new "elite" that enslaves the current "elite"?
It really boggles my mind how all of the sudden, conspiracy theories once limited to a limited underground audience have become commonplace in every day life.
- Splognosticus 6y agoIt hasn’t been all that sudden—rather it’s been snowballing. You had stuff like the Clinton Body Bags clear back in the 90’s, Fox was hammering on the outrage button, sites like Breitbart took that to eleven, Trump took advantage of that to gin up even more outrage, subs like the_donald rewarded the readers with the most unhinged behavior. All the while, education and public trust in journalism were being eroded. Now here we are, where a guy blows away a cash register at a pizza joint because he thinks there is a child sex dungeon in their nonexistent basement.
