Deepfake 2.0: create full body fakes on any photo from one selfie in 0.1 seconds
- azrev 6y agoI want to show you what I spent the last two years of my life on: the next generation of Deepfake, which can generate "fakes" from one selfie only. In contrast to the old good one, the 2.0 version generates not only the face, but the entire head, hair, adjusts the skin tone and even the bodyshape. Moreover, the new technology can be applied to any photo, not only to the built-in one.

- probably_wrong 6y agoSince you are the author and are interested in selling your idea, I would like to suggest some improvements for your video (written as paragraphs because formatting is not working right for me): If you have multiple features you want to show, you are better served by small, focused videos showing specific aspects of the technology. Your "Workflow" video works really well in that sense. You could split your video into smaller "Who am I?", "Idea", "Clothing", "Case study", and "Video early demo", and dedicate each one to a specific demographic. I think the use of memes is hurting you more than helping. I think the "Dancing Hitler" video works fine by itself, but I can imagine that the type of people who make hiring decisions are not going to bring a "Nicholas Cage as Trump" video to their bosses. "Does that mean that anyone can steal my personality using my Facebook photo only? Yes, but..." <- Don't bring this up. Keep an answer prepared for an interviewer, but you don't need to give your detractors any ammunition against your project from the onset. You really, really don't want to have the word "DeepFake" anywhere near a picture of Anne Frank. In fact, don't use her picture at all. You say "the system was not designed by video", and then spend a couple minutes showing videos of the system doing okay at it. This is less than ideal: if you call your system "deepfakes 2.0", you want to show better results than the 1.0 version. Unless you can beat the "Nicholas Cage as Superman" video, I would advise you against it. As I suggested before, making a separate video out of it might be more practical. As a final point: mapping a face into a 3D model and blending it correctly onto another body is a hard enough problem as it is, so congratulations on getting a working demo. If your objective is "get someone to buy this idea", everything else should gravitate around this single idea.
- azrev 6y agowow, that is constructive, thanks a lot
