  While helpful, it just seems to postpone the inevitable. If you lost your job due to COVID and submit this declaration, it sounds like the landlord can make you pay the full amount when it expires or kick you out. I guess it gives you time to find another job and get a new place lined up, though.

    There's been suggestions to essentially cancel debt with large injections of money into society.
