I've followed the tech sector closely since before I started my own entrepreneurial ventures, so I feel like my BS detector for valuation and VC is probably more finely tuned than the average person. Not to toot my own horn (well, maybe just a little bit), but when I started seeing the veritable avalanche of Quibi ads on Youtube months back, my first reaction was to say out loud to my S.O. "this thing is going to fail so hard." It seems to be almost a law of physics that there's an inverse relationship between the quality of a startup's product and their ad-spend. (Especially pre-launch)
