- gamblor956 6y agoIt would be FUD if Elon wasn't always bragging about how a phone was the only thing you needed to unlock your car... If you live by the sword, you die by the sword.
- root_axis 6y agoI mean, I agree with you that Elon is typically full of shit, but it's FUD because it's not a problem in real life, the bluetooth isn't always reliable in the general case anyway, anyone who relies on the car in a practical sense understands that the key-card is the key, not the phone.
- hellotomyrars 6y agoIt is a problem in real life today because of this outage, actually. Just because it can be worked around doesn't make it not a problem.
- root_axis 6y agoEvery outage is a "real problem", I'm using a turn of phrase to express that it's not at all a big deal. Instead of the car magically unlocking and starting from your mere presence you must deign to reach for the physical key like some type of barbarian.
