- 0xy 6y agoCountry who pioneered the practice of forced IP transfers and state-sponsored IP theft reacts with shock and horror when a single one of their own companies is met with similar anti-competitive treatment. China systematically blocks Western companies from operating in China without handing over IP or source code. Huawei for example, a company with an extensive history of being state sponsored, had a program that rewarded employees with direct cash incentives for delivering stolen IP to the company.
