But what if your web server is named www.domain.tld? Speaking personally, I don't even have www.mydomain.tld set up, as I just realized now when I tried to test it. That's ok, in my opinion www is mostly for those people who have learned "When I type something in Internet, it needs to start with 'www'", and my site holds nothing of interest for them :)
