This hits the nail on the head, IMO. Remote work increases the cost of communication. That's _wonderful_ for getting defined tasks complete, but _terrible_ for collaborative/unstructured problem-solving. I'm also seeing juniors really struggle - when your biggest challenge is getting traction, communication barriers are just so hard to overcome.
