Apple CEO impressed by remote work, sees permanent changes
- dangjc 6y agoWork from home hasn’t inhibited communication between my closest teammates. It has disrupted the interactions I used to have with people outside my direct projects where we shared ideas and kept abreast of what’s cool and going on inside the company. And I feel less comfortable talking to managers of other teams or my managers manager. And if there’s ever any kind of disagreements, it’s really hard to smooth over when not in person. There’s a lot of ego in engineering. You’re dealing with someone’s creation.
