- k___ 6y agoYou mean when they were bought by NewsCorp??? https://www.theguardian.com/media/2013/aug/17/rupert-murdoch-vice-magazine-stake#:~:text=7%20years%20old-,Rupert%20Murdoch%20firm%20dips%20into%20hipsters'%20bible,%2470m%20stake%20in%20Vice&text=Vice%20Media%2C%20the%20multi%2Dplatform,Rupert%20Murdoch's%2021st%20Century%20Fox https://www.theguardian.com/media/2013/aug/17/rupert-murdoch....
- notmurdoch 6y agoThis is blatant misinformation. The article you linked says Murdoch bought a 5% share seven years ago, and Murdoch isn't News Corp, and 5% is not a buyout. According to Wikipedia[0], today his share is so small they don't even list a percentile, and Soros (the Right's bogeyman, to counterbalance yours) owns 10%, with the actual majority stake split between larger, uncontroversial owners. News Corp owns 0% of Vice Media. Fake news. 0: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vice_Media https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vice_Media
