Another challenge: drainage management. You will have leaks.
- jelliclesfarm 6y agoI was thinking spraying shotcrete. Not an engineer. Book knowledge etc. Elon Musk has the boring tunnels...so surely we have the ability...it seems to be such a waste to build up when we can dig down.
- brodouevencode 6y agoThere's a whole complex system of pumps and drains that take care of this. Same is true for any subway system, underground parking, etc. It ain't gonna be cheap though. EDIT: shotcrete will help some, but is not a solution to. You need a membrane as all concrete is permeable.
