What about SMS? I don't know where you live, but here in America everyone I know uses it.
- rtkwe 6y agoI largely only text my partner and that's through Whatsapp. My friend group has a Discord we all use.
- dgellow 6y agoThe use of SMS is a US oddity. The rest of the world is using almost only messenger apps: Line or WeChat if you’re in Asia, WhatsApp or telegram in Europe or South America.
- samoa42 6y agoeuro here, used sms heavily until the ott messenger craze set in my cicles (~2015). nowadays mostly for contacts that either dont use a smartphone or dont have mobile internet connection (yes! those exist). are u sure u are using sms? asking because apple overlays imessage and iphone penetration is said to be highest in usa.
- arp242 6y agoIn Indonesia the only SMS I get is spam. It's so annoying that I just disable notifications for SMS.
