Broke Millennials Turn to Day Trading to Strike It Rich in Korea
- rvz 6y agoReminds me of the Bitcoin day traders throwing their mortgage on it and grabbing it at the all time high price. As soon as the long term hodlers sold at the peak, the day traders 'investments' were sent to hell, especially when Bitcoin is extremely volatile and full of speculation. Unlike Bitcoin, some stocks on the other hand are less like this, but again day trading only get you far. So when I see these sentences: > “In this environment, stock trading becomes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity” for riches. Capital at huge risk. Especially with CFDs or option trading. > I’ve had friends who piled into biotech stocks because they liked the name of the company I have nothing else to say to this. Little reasoning like this is why day traders are ridiculed for throwing their cash at over hyped and dead stock. FOMO reasoning here.
