Assange and Wikileaks has done a lot for government transparency and paid for it. Way more than the martyrs who go to rallies and complain that they’re called fake news. Who cares? Do something that gets you exiled into indefinite solitary confinement then you can have my sympathy. In the meantime, his defenders really are motley crew. You have people from all sides, from the WWG1WGA people to amnesty internal and reporters without borders. We'll see if that's enough to pierce the walled garden of coastal and mainstream media.
