Amazing how many ill effects importing capital, seeds, and food, has. Fortunately importing people is completely different and has no drawbacks.
- PaulHoule 6y agoThe converse of immigration being a cause of social instability is that emigration is a source of social stability for autocratic countries like China. China would have to put more dissidents into concentration camps and show the real nature of their system if people couldn't escape China by emigration. Same for places like South Korea where economic privilege is reserved for the special few. Emigration is a safety valve and the health of President Xi.
