I fear that in a globalized world we are becoming more and more divided. Each country/continent (EU, China, USA, India) is trying to eject foreign platforms and place their owns, I guess when you see on the news how much money tech companies are making, you also want a piece of the pie, although in this case you want your own separate pie (can't say that I blame them, I assume I would do the same thing).
