Can't read the article (paywall), but if this is in a public court filing wouldn't Facebook paint the future in the bleakest colors possible? I assume after the election in November the EU and the US will try to negotiate a new data sharing agreement. It would be in Facebooks interest to let the politicians know of their "dire" situation
