I did not know that you were supposed to do that. Like anything else from the freezer, I just let it sit out for awhile to thaw. I had never used freezers much except for things like ice cream or ice cubes, we always had fresh and/or canned food. To this day I don't really know how to make frozen food properly edible, but today I learned one new thing.
