IIRC My Mini has corrected me for speaking to it while it was muted so I'm not sure it's a hardware kill switch.
- Reason077 6y agoOn my regular Google Home, pressing the mute switch makes it turn orange. It then won't respond to any voice input until you unmute it.
- ohyeshedid 6y agoThere's a huge difference in the microphone being physically incapable of hearing you vs a toggle switch that tells the os not to respond to you.
